I think by now everyone has seen The Walking Dead? Maybe? If not, educate yourself friends, you never know when an awful disease can infect the world. I'm not worried about it, you are.
Not only has a deadly disease wreaked havoc on the world and it's up to you to save everyone. The twist? You yourself are infected. What's worse? You have tripped an alarm and you are trapped inside the lab with the cure. You have 60 minutes to get to it before the disease takes its full effect.
Mike really stepped up his game with the construction of this room. Walking into the room the white walls feel a bit eerie when you think that at any moment your "infection" could take over and the scene could completely change. This rooms was unique in that the design even had medical equipment such as test tubes, medical utensils, and supplies. You can tell how much time Mike took to thing out every detail which is something I always appreciate.
Not only was the room well planned the puzzles were challenging. Not all were sequential which gave our larger group a chance to work on multiple things at once. I loved that we had an opportunity to "use" some of the props in the room to complete tasks to move on. However, these were difficult! Which made me enjoy the room even more. As much as I love to win but when a room can really challenge me to thing beyond the normalcy and similarities of most rooms I really get a kick out of it.
Side note: I was only frustrated about not getting out for maybe 3 hours. IT IS FINE GUYS IT ISN'T A BIG DEAL.
Overall this room was fantastic. If you are looking for a challenge that will force you to think differently or outside of the box this is one to do. I would recommend this room for a team of 4-6. While the room holds 8 it may get a bit crowded. Perfect for mid to advanced escapers who really want to test their skills and fun for all age levels.
Can't wait to head back to Dayton to try our hand at their other two rooms!
